This was the start of an idea to have a group write a story in a common world. Then we added a few central characters that everyone could use -- Mr. Perkins the school Principal. Chief Cody the Chief of Police etc.

Ground rules is you can't kill or hurt them. They must be available to wander into somebody else's story. A few key locations: ticket booth, buffet table, kitchen, bathroom, dance hall, DJ, and you can't trash or alter these locations.

It's such a big local event that people come from miles around, even out of town. The basic 'World View' would be that of today, current year. Of course add any mythology you wish!

You can't kill off the whole bar, burn it down, destroy the town or anything like that. The locals don't know what is going on, except for...

The cast of characters for the writers to share:

(Pic 9)Rear view of the bar showing part of the alley. Picnic tables are stacked in this picture but would be set up for the party. Add some Tikki Torches for atmosphere. More than one floor? Basement? That's up to you!

Paved parking lot for 100 cars with just one street light in the center of the lot. There is a dirt lot next to it that will hold another 100 cars, no lights. Parking right next to the building for motorcycles only. Street light above it bolted to the wall of the building. Has yellow poles sticking up so cars can't park there. Room for 35 bikes.

Graveyard next door, a very old graveyard with lots of trees, crypts, vaults and old headstones.

The weather: Cool in the mid 60's, scattered overcast.
Wind is 0mph.
Hasn't rained this past week so the fall leaves on the ground are crunchy. Camouflaging the ground with a patchwork of bits of orange, yellow and brown.
There is a full moon this night!
